How to download the software again??
I got similar problem, that update can not complete for VW, so I delete the application
of VW, now I want to download it a gain. -

Once delted or unistalled with the autel application the update should offer it again.
You may have to search for updates, but you should get it back.
Please note that Skoda, Audi and Seat are just links to VW.
You may have to delete them all.

Poor customer support for this. Many seem to have this issue. We are a repair shop and use a scan tool daily. Glad my own is a maximus2. Step up and help plz support. -

This worked for me.
I had the same problem, which I believe was caused by a program update not
rebooting automatically when finished and continuing to download car updates then
rebooting, so ending up with one version starting the download and then trying to
continue with the new version.
I fixed this by using ES file explorer to navigate to the scantool folder then downloads
and deleleting all the folders with part downloaded files.
This must not be done when the program has crashed but straight a reboot.
Then you can do the updates.
Use this info at your own risk -

did a factory reset as before but this time it seems to have worked. So settimgs and factory reset and backup then updated. Fingers crossed
